Electronic Toll Collection Coordinator

The major duty of the position is the maintenance of the workflow and assisting in the supervision of the Customer Service employees in The Maine Turnpike Authority' s E-ZPass Customer Service Center. The position assists with the development of staff schedules for all customer service employees and is the backup for the E-ZPass Manager.
Responds to correspondence from patrons regarding questions or problems with E-ZPass Personal or Business Accounts and Violations.
Follows up on the collection of bad checks, rejected credit cards, and suspended accounts.
Develops and implements new methods and work processes to improve the operation of the programs.
Recommends changes in Personal Accounts, Business Accounts, and Violation processing that will increase efficiency, lower costs, and increase patron satisfaction.
Reviews policies and operating procedures for the Customer Service Center, and recommends changes to the E-ZPass Manager and Director of E-ZPass Operations.
