Financial Analyst/ Cost Accountant
Job Description
Hybrid opportunity/3 days on site.
REQUIREMENTS
Position requires 5+ years financial accounting in manufacturing or cost analysis position. Gov't contracting experience a plus. Understanding of GAAP and MRP fundamentals.
BS Financial Accounting or other appropriate degree.
POSITION
- Plan, study and collect data to determine costs of business activity, such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor
- Analyzes changes in product design raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on costs and drivers of margin impacts
- Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepares periodic report comparing month to month/quarter to quarter and year over year analysis for product lines
- Analyze projects costs, estimates and budgets
- Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors, affective prices, and profitability of products or services
- Assist in accounting closing and preparation of financial statements each month

Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
