Job Description

URGENT - We are hiring 4-5 temporary healthcare employees for our established healthcare client located in South Portland, just down the road from the Portland Jetport. This is a great temporary opportunity for qualified healthcare candidates looking to gain additional experience while searching for their next role.

Duties:

  • Records Management - Sort, classify, and verify processed documents
  • Perform quality assurance checks on documents imaged into Electronic Health Records
  • Transfer health information from paper format to electronic format
  • Process incoming fax documents
  • Scan new patient records
  • Preload new/existing patient records, analyze/extract specific patient information for electronic health records
  • Coordinate with clinical teams to ensure patient electronic health records are current/up-to-date
  • Call patients to obtain healthcare information
  • Other responsibilities as directed

Requirements:

  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records/eClinical is required
  • Understanding of HIPAA/patient confidentiality is required
  • Understanding of medical terminology is required
  • RHIT credential is preferred
  • Must be strong with computer and phone skills
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with accuracy

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

 

  • Monday to Friday
