OPENINGS IN PORTLAND AND SCARBOROUGH
One of our clients, the largest Healthcare system in Maine, is hiring for Medical Assistants. These roles are temp-to-hire and some are direct hire positions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Rooming a patient/After rooming a patient protocol
Opening rooms following safe and proper technique
Downloading Pillcam and Bravo reports
Mailing prep kits
Sending daily schedule report to transcription service
Cleaning/Closing exam rooms
Downloading and entering PIFs from paper and through the portal
Mailing preps and consult paperwork
Assigning unassigned patients
Use of video interpretation machine
Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Medical Assistants Certificate or Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse License preferred.
