Receive and resolve client inquiries related to insurance premium rates, billing, client eligibility, and employee benefit plan implementation.
Prepare annual benefit enrollment materials for clients.
Conduct employee benefit education and enrollment meetings for new business as needed, including follow-up on employee inquiries.
Answer incoming customer service calls from all Healey & Associates clients requiring assistance with claims or coverage issues.
Process paperwork to ensure correct and timely enrollment for group clients.
Maintain and administer in force business, including premium processing; monthly renewals; policy amendments; change of broker; member additions; terminations; COBRA set-up and administration; and delinquency and reinstatement determinations
Apply sound business judgment in analysis, research, interpretation, review and preparation of group insurance contracts and other documentation resulting in records that are accurate, clear, concise and legally defensible.
May make recommendations to producers/relationship managers regarding quotes, ideas and issues needing to be addressed.
Five years of experience servicing small and large group employee benefits sales and renewals, including self-funded plans.
Public speaking skills.
Demonstrated customer service experience.
Knowledge of employee benefits including medical, dental, life, disability, and long term care insurance, as well as EAPs and other fringe benefits.
Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience.
