A Day in the Life of a Teller:
Create a positive customer experience each and every time through confidence and enthusiasm.
Assist customers in completing account transactions quickly and efficiently.
Get to know customer- ask questions so you can promote our products/services and satisfy customer s financial needs.
Resolve customer concerns, but know when to escalate the issue.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The role of the Teller is to be welcoming, build rapport and provide outstanding service to the Bank client. Tellers and all Branch team members are expected to act professionally at all times, conduct business ethically, avoid conflicts of interest, and act in the best interest of our customers.
Primary Teller Functions:
Accept and accurately process all financial service transactions
Maintain responsibility for cash drawer and follow proper balancing procedures
Act as a resource to identify and resolve client servicing issues
The qualifications we are looking for:
Six months of customer service experience.
Experience with cash handling.
Ability to ask effective questions and provide solutions to customer issues.
Solid math skills.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Familiarity with computer applications
Superior customer service, excellent communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment to achieve success
Able to work branch hours.
A high school education or GED.
Schedule: Full Time: 40 hours. Schedules may vary based on branch needs Monday through Friday, and includes Saturday mornings. You' ll have Sunday and usually one other day off in the week.
Pay: $13-$15 hr.
