Human Resources Manager

The Human Resource Manager position is responsible for all aspects of payroll processing and functions related to employee record keeping, performance, benefits and other employee issues. He/she will also work with the Accounting Manager and the CFO to provide assistance where needed. ADP Payroll experience necessary; 2 years payroll and HR experience required. This is a PT position up to 29 hours weekly, competitive compensation. Ideal hours 8 to 1 daily.
Manage operations involved in the administration and delivery of payroll.*
Develop and maintain confidential employee records.**
Manage 401(k)/Safe Harbor program including weekly and quarterly reporting.**
Analyze, modify and administer compensation, benefits and performance management systems.**
Perform tasks related to employee relations, disability, workers compensation, unemployment and OSHA.**
Develop and administers safety and sexual harassment programs**
Coordinate recruitment and placement activities, interview, assess qualifications and skills and participate in hiring decisions.**
Develop and ensure the implementation of proper hiring procedures.**
Counsel or discipline as required, assist in the internal resolution of employee grievances.*
Develop and ensure the implementation of proper termination procedures.
Assists in developing job descriptions.
Track vacation usage and ensure compliance.
