The individual in this position will work alongside with team and supervise and coach the mortgage processing and closing team for all mortgage loan types. Responsible to ensure quality service to members, and delivery of quality loan packages to investors.

Loan Processing:
The mortgage processors process all mortgage loans after underwriting approval. Works with all parties involved in bringing the mortgage to a successful closing. Work with various internal and external parties and vendors to collect necessary documents needed to satisfy underwriting conditions. Ensures that all documentation is correct and accurate and received in a timely manner. Makes vendor contact when necessary to compile required documentation. Provides necessary quality control on loans for boarding on to the core loan (Episys) system. Communicates with borrowers, buyers, and brokers on regular basis.

Quality Assurance and Regulation Assistance:
Check for quality assurance and accuracy. Provide VP of Lending with regulatory support when needed.

Performance and Operations Management:
Responsible for developing and maintaining a highly functional, cross trained, efficient department. Takes responsibility for team and the professional development and service standards provided in this department. Setting expectations for Banks service standards so that every member is served swiftly and with respect. Customers would be members, vendors, staff and anyone who they come in contact with. Ensuring change management and efficiencies are monitored. Ensure policies and procedures are followed and met.

Experience, Education, Interpersonal Skills & Knowledge Requirements
Experience
Two to Five years of similar or related experience
Education
A high school education or GED with completion of a specialized and extensive in house training or apprenticeship program.
Interpersonal Skills
A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive contact with others via phone or electronic channels and is usually of a personal or sensitive nature.
Knowledge Requirements
Written/verbal communication skills are critical to this position. Functional with software packages including MS Office and core processing.
