Position Summary
This role provides an immediate opportunity to lead engagements from planning through completion, mentor staff, and serve as a primary contact for a diverse client base. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead audit engagements from planning through issuance, ensuring quality and adherence to professional standards.
- Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact during fieldwork and execution.
- Review audit workpapers and financial statements, applying sound judgment to routine and complex matters.
- Directly supervise, coach, and mentor audit seniors and staff, providing actionable feedback.
- Manage engagement budgets, staffing, and timelines across multiple concurrent audits.
- Collaborate with Partners to drive high-quality service and support firm-wide initiatives.
Job Requirements
Requirements & Qualifications
- Active CPA license (Required)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive public accounting audit experience preferred.
- Deep knowledge of frameworks such as FASB, GASB, ERISA, Yellow Book, or Single Audit.
- Proven track record of managing multiple engagements simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills with a natural ability to lead and train others.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
