Healthcare Call Center Representative
Job Description
We have a great temp-to-hire opening with our largest healthcare client in Maine, located at their call center office in Scarborough. Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls from patients and provide assistance with inquiries and appointment scheduling
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of medical office procedures to accurately communicate information to patients
- Perform data entry tasks to update patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Analyze patient needs and provide appropriate solutions or escalate issues to the appropriate department
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Proficient in medical terminology and familiar with medical office procedures is preferred
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in a call center or customer service role is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
