Responsibilities/Duties:

Recruiting

• Sourcing and reaching out to candidates through multiple sources (job boards, networking, inbound applications)
• Phone screening and interviewing applicants to assess a match to our openings
• Coordinating with candidates and hiring managers to set up and schedule interviews
• Providing transparency to candidates regarding pay, benefits, job duties etc.
• Extending and negotiating offers

Business Development

• Prospecting and following up on sales leads
• Email marketing to current / prospective clients
• Attending relevant networking events

HR / Administrative

• Assist with employee onboarding / offboarding
• Primary point of contact for candidates and employees placed on Springborn projects
• Performance coaching for employees placed on Springborn projects as needed
• Maintaining accurate records
• Various other HR / administrative support tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Degree in relevant field (business, marketing, communications, sales, human resources) OR relevant work experience
• 2 + years of experience in a Recruiting, Sales, or HR environment (preferred)
• Recruiting AND sales experience is a plus
• Proficiency using Recruiting / CRM software ex: Salesforce, Tempworks, or Bullhorn (preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Time management / planning skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset

Job Location:

This will be an in office position in Portland ME. Our office is located in the heart of the Old Port.
