Job Description

 

We are seeking a Medical Record Specialist to join our largest healthcare client in Maine, this position is located in Scarborough and a very quick drive from Greater Portland! This is a full time 40-hour/week position, with shifts operating from 8am to 4:30pm Monday-Friday.

**This is a temporary role with potential for hire after the assignment**

Duties:

  • Handles requests for information from within/outside the practice, including medical record transfers
  • Prep patient charts for upcoming appointments
  • Collect, verify, enter, and monitor patient data
  • Perform duties in the role while complying with all federal, state, and company confidentiality policies

Required Knowledge/Experience:

  • Previous medical office experience is required
  • Strong adherence to confidentiality policies
  • Strong customer service techniques
  • Communication with multiple parties/departments
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

 

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
