Operations Manager
Springborn Staffing is working with a company who is hiring an experienced , attention to detail Operations Manager. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in commercial timber framing project management, team leadership, and client communication/relationships. Experience in timber framing, crew supervision, and construction workflows is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, alter, and repair structural and architectural components using timber-based materials.
- Interpret and execute shop drawings.
- Maintain and enforce safety policies and procedures.
- Oversee production teams at the work site and production facility.
- Guide and support junior team members.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed/assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in Heavy Timber Construction.
- Excellent organizational abilities, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Hands-on experience using a chainsaw, & circular saw/track saw.
- Ability to read and work from detailed shop drawings.
- Leadership or project management experience is a must.
- A proactive, curious attitude with a passion for learning and sharing knowledge.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Passion for sustainable design and green building practices.
- Experience building with wood (post-and-beam or mortise-and-tenon joinery) for structural construction in commercial or large-scale building projects.
- Familiarity with interpreting architectural drawings and turning them into efficient build processes.
- OSHA safety training or similar certifications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
