Job Description
This is a Temporary (6+ month) position located in Portland Maine, and offers Hybrid work opportunities (2 remote days/week) - AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY
Position Summary:
- Initiate semi-monthly payroll with PEO for about 200 company employees
- Collecting + sending payroll data to Insperity and following up to ensure necessary updates have been made
- Maintain payroll deductions, deferrals, and withholdings
- Approve time-off requests
- Update employee files for new hires, termed employees, and general benefits information
- Calculate PTO/PTO payout
- Ensuring all timecards are sent in at the end of each week
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Some experience with Payroll/Payroll Processing and Benefits
- General experience with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Strong attention to detail
- Skilled at managing time and multiple priorities
