Job Description
Temp to hire or direct hire. Hourly rate to $25/HR. Familiarity with affordable housing market or property management experience needed.
Position Summary:
Work closely with and provide instruction to other staff to ensure the financial, physical, compliance, and overall operational health of an assigned portfolio of properties by providing excellent asset management to property owners as well as excellent customer service and quality living environment to all tenants, establishing positive and productive working relationships, and adhering to the company’s professional obligations and core values. Essential Functions: • Collaborate with other company staff to manage day-to-day operations of properties within assigned portfolio. • Coordinate all aspects of move-in and move-out processes including show units, sign leases, complete necessary inspections, assess damages, etc. and accomplish these tasks on a timely basis within established timeframes. • Understand and adhere to policies and procedures and any related regulatory agency rules and regulations, including Fair Housing and Non-Discrimination laws, Americans with Disabilities Act and Affirmative Fair Housing Marketing Plans. • Perform annual unit, monthly site, and other unit and site inspections including agency or agency-contractor inspections in compliance with company, owner and agency expectations. • Assist in maintaining property financials, including providing input for budgets; review, assess and provide variance information related to monthly and annual financial statements • Assist in maintaining optimal property financial health by completing processes such as collecting rent and all applicable fees and/or tenant charges, tracking delinquent accounts, arranging payment agreements, initiating and following through with legal proceedings for non-payment and/or cause evictions, input into process for submitting bad debt and tenant collections to the collection agency within established timeframes.
